Learn the art of lacemaking in this introductory session hosted by Lace Club. No previous experience is necessary and all materials are provided.
They are a community-led lacemaking group, based in north-east London. Since their creation in 2023, they have aimed to demystify the world of lace and make it an accessible hobby. The club, which meets fortnightly, is open to anyone.
The structure of the club is based on the longstanding tradition of communal lacemaking is an essential part of keeping the craft alive. They hope to give people the tools, knowledge and confidence to explore lacemaking in whatever way they want.
